Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup baby corn
  • 1 cup sliced snap peas
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Sliced green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add the sliced pork and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same wok, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the ginger and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced onions, mushrooms, celery, and carrots. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
  6. Add the sliced red bell pepper, baby corn, snap peas, and broccoli. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Return the cooked pork to the wok, pour in the sauce mixture, and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through and coated with the sauce.
  9. Serve the stir-fry over steamed rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Notes

To ensure quick and even cooking, make sure to slice the pork thinly. Don’t overcook the vegetables; they should retain their vibrant colors and crispness. Feel free to customize the sauce by adjusting the quantities of soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce to suit your taste preferences. Serve the stir-fry with cooked rice or noodles for a hearty meal. Enjoy!

Chef’s tip: For a touch of heat, add red pepper flakes or sriracha to the sauce.
