Instructions

  3. Layer the deli ham evenly over six of the 12 slices of bread.
  4. Top the ham with Swiss cheese slices, ensuring they cover the entire surface.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and poppy seeds until well combined.
  6. Spread the sauce evenly over the Swiss cheese layer.
  7. Place the top half of the bread over the sauce, creating a sandwich.
  8. Brush the melted butter over the top of the bread.
  9. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is warmed through.
  10. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the tops of the bread are lightly golden.
  11. Remove from the oven and let the sandwiches cool for a few minutes.
  12. Serve the ham and Swiss sliders warm, and optionally garnish with sliced pickles, sliced tomatoes, or lettuce leaves.
